‘Straight Outta Compton’s’ Jason Mitchell Joins Legendary’s ‘Skull Island’

Jason Mitchell, who received critical acclaim for portraying rapper Eazy-E in “Straight Outta Compton,” looks to be teaming up with one of his castmates for his next venture.

Sources tell Variety that Mitchell is in negotiations to join Legendary and Universal’s “Kong: Skull Island,” which stars Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson and his “Straight Outta Compton” co-star Corey Hawkins.
