If there’s one movie franchise that can get Hollywood to geek out like fans, it’s Star Wars. At Monday night’s world premiere of “The Force Awakens,” celebrities dressed up in their favorite “Star Wars” costumes on a red carpet that stretched over four blocks on Hollywood boulevard.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt went as Yoda, the powerful Jedi master, wearing matching green pants that featured another classic know-it-all: The Grinch.

“The Office” star Rainn Wilson dressed up as Obi-Wan Kenobi along with his son Walter, who also got in the spirit, while Sofia Vergara, model Karrueche Tran and TV host Maria Menounos sported buns in honor of Princess Leia. Janelle Monae also sported Leia braid, a leather dress with cutouts and metallic accents she called “afrofuturism” and “Star Wars” collection makeup by Cover Girl.

John Boyega, star of “The Force Awakens,” donned one leather glove in honor of Luke Skywalker.

Other stars like Lupita Nyong’o arrived in “Star Wars”-inspired ensembles. Nyong’o, who co-stars in “The Force Awakens,” said her shimmering metallic Alexandre Vauthier gown “brought the galaxy with her,” while “Jane the Virgin” star Gina Rodriguez also wore a half black, half white dress in a nod to the two sides of the Force.
