Relativity will release Christian music documentary “Hillsong – Let Hope Rise” on May 29.

Earlier this year, Warner Bros. pulled the movie from its April 1 slot after Alcon Entertainment was unable to close the deal for the rights.

The movie is directed by Michael John Warren (Jay-Z’s “Fade to Black”) and focuses on the Australia-based Christian worship band Hillsong United. The band has sold more than 16 million albums.

The film follows the band as they labor to record their next album and explores the 30-year history of Hillsong from a tiny church in the Sydney suburbs to an international ministry. It culminates in a concert.

Hillsong United is led by Joel Houston, son of Hillsong Church founders Brian and Bobbie Houston. Hillsong Church has 12 locations with more than 100,000 weekly attendees.
