Paramount has shuffled its horror movies slate, setting a Nov. 13 release date for “Rings,” the next chapter in its “Ring” franchise.

The studio also moved back “Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension” from March 13 to Oct. 23 and “Friday the 13th” — previously scheduled for Nov. 13  — for May 13.

Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are producing “Rings,” which will again feature a deadly videotape. Italian actress Matilda Lutz will star, and F. Javier Gutierrez will direct.

“Rings” is the third film in “The Ring” franchise, which launched in 2002. The new “Friday the 13th” is the 10th in the series. “Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension” is the sixth iteration of the franchise, which began in 2009.
