Noam Murro, director of “300: Rise of an Empire,” has come on board to helm heist drama “Blink” from Atlas Independent.
Highland Film Group will introduce the project at Berlin. Shooting will start this summer.
Murro will direct from the Black List script by Hernany Perla. Atlas Independent’s William Green, Aaron Ginsburg and Jake Kurily are producing.
The story centers on a man who has been left fully paralyzed during an infamous, unsolved bank robbery. He’s taken hostage for the secrets in his head and — with only the use of his eyes — has to outwit his captors and solve the mystery of the heist.
Murro won two DGA awards for directing commercials and made his feature debut in 2009 with Miramax’s “Smart People,” starring Dennis Quaid, Thomas Haden Church, Sarah Jessica Parker and Ellen Page.
Murro is represented by CAA and Management 360. Perla is represented by Madhouse Entertainment and Original Artists.
