Miles Teller is in talks to star in post-traumatic stress disorder drama “Thank You for Your Service” for DreamWorks.

“American Sniper” screenwriter Jason Hall is directing from a script he adapted from David Finkel’s 2013 book of the same name, which followed up the home-front struggles of the battalion chronicled in Finkel’s “The Good Soldiers” during its 15-month tour of Baghdad during the surge of 2007-08. The book was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award.

DreamWorks acquired movie rights to “Thank You for Your Service” prior to publication. No producers have been attached to the project.

Hall received an Oscar nomination for adapted screenplay for Warner Bros.’ “American Sniper.”

Teller starred in “Fantastic Four” and “Whiplash.” He will be seen “Divergent” sequel “Allegiant: Part 1” and in “Arms and the Dudes” with Jonah Hill. He’s represented by CAA.
