Mila Kunis, Christina Applegate and Kristen Bell are set to star in Jon Lucas and Scott Moore’s untitled STX comedy, previously titled “Bad Moms.”

Lucas and Moore will write and direct, with Suzanne Todd (“Alice in Wonderland”) and Bill Block producing.

The film follows three moms who embark on a quest to liberate themselves from their mundane, everyday chores, accidentally landing themselves on a collision course with their children’s school’s PTA president and her blindly devoted clique of “perfect” moms.

“Jon Lucas and Scott Moore are masters at creating relatable characters that audiences instantly embrace, and then putting them in hilarious real-life situations for great comedic results,” said Oren Aviv, STX Entertainment’s president and chief content officer. “This film provides the rare opportunity for a half-dozen strong female lead roles, and we are thrilled to have assembled an exceptional cast led by Mila Kunis, Christina Applegate, Kristen Bell. We can’t wait to start production and be part of the magic this team will bring to the screen.”

Kunis is currently lending her voice to the animated comedy “Hell and Back.” She is repped by CAA and Curtis Talent Management. Applegate, who is represented by CAA and Management 360, was last seen in New Line’s “Vacation” reboot.

Bell — repped by CAA and Bailey Brand Management — will star opposite Melissa McCarthy in Universal’s upcoming comedy “The Boss.”
