“Episodes” star Kathleen Rose Perkins has joined the cast of Nico Sabenorio’s drama “Juveniles,” which begins shooting later this month, Variety has learned exclusively.
Perkins portrays a single mother trying to raise her family in challenging circumstances while facing her past. She joins previously announced cast of Beau Knapp, Stephen Moyer, Martin Henderson, Nick Eversman, Trevor Jackson, Jessica Rothe, Morgan Lily and Kevin Alejandro.
CAA is representing the film’s worldwide sales rights.
The film, written by Sabenorio, tells the story of present day tribal rivalries colliding in small town America, as an older teenager must fight to overcome the powerful forces of violence and poverty while trying to protect his family.
Producers are DisruptiveLA’s James Burke, Chris Miller, Scott Disharoon and Elliot Rosenblatt.
Perkins was most recently seen in “Gone Girl” and “The Skeleton Twins.” She will next be seen as the lead of independent film “The Better Half.”
