Model Jessica Gomes has come on board Alcon Entertainment’s comedy “Bastards” and will portray the love interest of Owen Wilson’s character, Variety has learned exclusively.

Wilson and Ed Helms are starring as brothers whose eccentric mother raised them to believe their father died when they were young. When they discover this to be a lie, they set out to find their real father.

J.K. Simmons and Terry Bradshaw are starring as potential father figures to Wilson and Helms’ characters. Katt Williams, Ving Rhames and Glenn Close also star.

“Bastards” marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Larry Sher (the “Hangover” films) with Justin Malen scripting. Principal photography started in Atlanta and Miami in September, with Warner Bros. planning to release the film on Nov. 4, 2016, through Alcon’s output deal.

The film is being produced by Alcon Entertainment with the company’s Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove. They have partnered with the Montecito Picture Company’s Ivan Reitman, Tom Pollock and Ali Bell. Executive producers are Chris Fenton and Chris Cowles.
