Jenny Slate Joins Zachary Quinto in Indie Drama ‘Aardvark’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Jenny Slate is in negotiations to join Zachary Quinto in the indie drama “Aardvark,” sources tell Variety.

Brian Shoaf is writing and directing the pic with Quinto producing along with Susan Leber and Neal Dodson.

Plot details are still under wraps, and so are the details surrounding Slate’s character.

Production is expected to start in December in New York.

Slate just landed the female lead opposite Chris Evans in Marc Webb’s “Gifted” at Fox Searchlight.

She is currently filming the drama “Brain on Fire” opposite Chloe Grace Moretz, Thomas Mann and Tyler Perry. She is also developing an untitled FX road trip pilot with director/writer Gillian Robespierre and producer Elisabeth Holm (with whom she worked on “Obvious Child”). She can still be seen on FX’s comedy “Married” starring Nat Faxon and Judy Greer.

Slate is repped by WME, 3 Arts Entertainment and Josh Sandler at Gray Krauss Stratford Sandler Des Rochers.
