Jennette McCurdy, Virginia Gardner Join Teen Comedy ‘Little Bitches’

Jennette McCurdy and Virginia Gardner have joined Kiersey Clemons in the independent teen comedy “Little Bitches,” Variety has learned exclusively.

McCurdy stars in the Netflix drama “Between” and gained notice for her work on Nickelodeon’s “iCarly” series. Gardner starred in “Project Almanac” and the upcoming drama “Goat” opposite Nick Jonas.

“Little Bitches” is currently shooting in Los Angeles with Nick Kreiss directing from his own script. Producers are Scott Aversano, Will Russell-Shapiro, Jorge Garcia, Diego Del Rio, Dom Genest, Dan Carrillo-Levy and Eugenio Villamar.

The story follows two best friends — played by Clemons and McCurdy — trying to reconnect with a former friend (Gardner) before an end-of-senior-year party at which they had all planned to open their college acceptance letters at the same time.

Andrew Santino, Moises Arias, Karan Soni, Adam Lustick, Laura Hayes, Beth Dover, Chloe Bridges and Irene Choi are in supporting roles. Santino is in “The Disaster Artist.”

McCurdy and Kreiss are repped by UTA and Management 360. Gardner is repped by UTA and 3 Arts.
