The final trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” has been released, showing Panem in a full-scale war.
The last look at the final installment in the box office phenom shows Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) rallying the people of Panem to take up arms against the Capital and the evil President Snow (Donald Sutherland).
“He corrupts everyone and everything,” Everdeen says. “He turns the best of us against each other. Stop killing for him. Tonight turn your weapons to the Capital.”
The trailer also shows glimpses of the infiltration of the trap-laden Capital and all of the running, gunning and arrow-slinging that follows.
Along with the trailer, a clip of the movie was released last week. This look shows Everdeen, Finnick (Sam Claflin) and Gale (Liam Hemsworth) being told they are a part of the “star squad.” Being on the squad means that the three will remain the face of the war, but will stay away from the fighting despite their combat skills.
After a breakdown on how booby-trapped the Capital is, Finnick turns to Katniss and says, “Welcome to the 76th Hunger Games.”
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” releases Nov. 20 and also stars Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Natalie Dormer and Stanley Tucci.
