Celebrities like Neil Patrick Harris, Beyonce and Heidi Klum got into the holiday spirit and went all out on their costumes. Outfits seemed to be more spot-on than spooky in 2015, with big themes being “Star Wars” and superheroes.

Leave it to Harris to bring the force to his family. Harris, his husband David Burtka and their young children dressed as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker, respectively, for a “Star Wars”-themed holiday. Luckily, they can reuse their costumes for a family viewing of “The Force Awakens” when it debuts in December.
Now THAT’S a Jessica Rabbit costume. Heidi Klum didn’t hold back with her costume of the sultry cartoon character, showing off at her 16th annual Halloween party.

It’s little surprise that Miley Cyrus showed up in the creativity department. She dressed as a tooth this year, along with a friend who went dressed as the Tooth Fairy.
It was Katy Perry, however, who dropped the mic — no, really. The popstar went as a piece of equipment she uses quite a bit, donning an elaborate microphone costume.
