Watch: Bradley Cooper Is a Troubled Chef in ‘Burnt’ First Trailer

Bradley Cooper is back in the chef’s coat for his upcoming film “Burnt.”

The first trailer for the movie, which was originally called “Chef” then changed to “Adam Jones” before taking on the current title, shows Cooper’s hard-edged, renowned restauranteur striving for perfection.

“I don’t want my restaurant to be a place where you come and eat,” he says in the food porn-heavy trailer, which debuted on Yahoo Movies. “I want people to sit at that table and be sick with longing.”

After destroying his career with his arrogance and drug use, his character Adam Jones turns a new leaf and returns to London to open a restaurant that will ultimately earn three Michelin stars.

“Maybe I just wanted it really badly, and when I got it, I didn’t know how to hold onto it,” he says.

Cooper, who previously played a chef in the short-lived Fox TV show “Kitchen Confidential,” reunites with his “American Sniper” costar Sienna Miller in the drama.

Burnt,” directed by John Wells, also stars Uma Thurman, Emma Thompson, Daniel Bruhl, Lily James, Matthew Rhys and Jamie Dornan.

The movie hits theaters on October 23.
