Affleck stopped by the late-night show to share the new clip, which features the duo’s civilian alter egos, Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent, interacting for the first time. The two get pretty meta as they debate the efficacy of Batman and Superman in their respective cities.
“I just have a bad history with freaks dressed like clowns,” Ben Affleck intones as Bruce Wayne. This epic foe seems to be the catalyst that brings Superman, Batman and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman together.
The trailer also features a good deal of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, along with Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth.
