The Animation Show of Shows reached its Kickstarter goal earlier this summer to bring the 17th edition of the curated cornucopia of animated shorts from around the world to a wider audience.

Now the collection will screen for a week in Los Angeles at the ArcLight Hollywood beginning Sept. 24 before screening in various other locations across the country through the end of November.

The Animation Show of Shows, curated by veteran animation producer Ron Diamond, has made the rounds of schools and studios throughout the animation industry each year to showcase work from emerging animators from around the world. Among the 11 shorts included in the latest edition are “The Story of Percival Pilts” by Janette Goodey and John Lewis (Australia); Tant de Forets by Geoffrey Godet and Burcu Sankur (France); “Snowfall” by Conor Whelan (Ireland); “We Can’t Live Without the Cosmos” by Konstantin Bronzit (Russia); and “Stripy” by Babak Nekooei and Behnoud Nekooei (Iran).
