Production of “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” was halted Monday in Australia due to the hand injury suffered by Johnny Depp earlier this month, a spokesman for Disney confirmed.

Last month, the actor flew to the U.S. following an injury he suffered in Queensland. It’s unknown how Depp hurt himself. According to Disney, the incident occurred off the “Pirates of the Caribbean” set.

As the actor recovered from surgery on his hand, filming on “Pirates 5” had continued without the actor. But some 200 crew were told this week that they would not be working until the middle of next month.

Production is expected to resume on or around April 15.

Co-starring Javier Bardem and Geoffrey Rush, “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” sails into theaters July 7, 2017.
