It’s out with the old and in with the new for high-powered talent agent Jason Heyman, who recently left his high post at CAA for an even more vaunted partnership at UTA — and shortly thereafter put his Pacific Palisades residence up for sale, at $3.8 million. Heyman, who shepherds a slew of bankable comedy superstars like Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis, Sarah Silverman and Chris Pratt, purchased the four-bedroom and three-bathroom cedar-shingled residence in the Marquez Knolls nabe, per property records, in May 2006 for a tetch less than $2.7 million.

The renovated residence, at the end of a flat, quiet, kid-friendly cul-de-sac, backs up to open space, and comes in at just over 3,200 square feet, blending vintage Craftsman-style details with modern-day creature comforts. Hand-hewn oak floors run throughout the open-plan living spaces that include a combination living/dining room with river rock fireplace, a center-island kitchen with custom cabinetry, and a sizable family room with vaulted ceiling and built-in entertainment unit. The uppermost floor is given over to a master suite that’s replete with fireplace, marble bathroom and two private decks, one of which has an exterior stairway to a roof terrace with wet bar and 360-degree views that sweep across the mountains and over the ocean.

A quick search of property records reveals the showbiz mover and shaker has already purchased his next home — a 6,500-square-foot traditional in a guard-gated enclave less than two miles from his old house — and also owns one of the multimillion-dollar mobile homes at Paradise Cove, Malibu’s most renowned and preposterously pricey trailer park.
