CAA has signed comedian-actor Yousef Saleh Erakat — better known by his YouTube handle, FouseyTube — for representation in all areas.

The 25-year-old Palestinian-American has 7.2 million subscribers on his FouseyTube YouTube channel. Erakat, who lives in the L.A. area, produces parodies, vlogs, comedy sketches and pranks in which his larger-than-life persona serves as the setup for social experiments with a moral undertone.

Erakat, a classically trained actor who studied theater at San Jose State U., is also a standup comedian. In his latest gig, he’s scheduled to appear at the Improv in Hollywood on Tuesday. FouseyTube is affiliated with Collective Digital Studio.

CAA will work with Erakat to create opportunities in all areas, including digital distribution and partnerships, film, television, endorsements, personal appearances and publishing.

FouseyTube was the winner of the Audience Choice Award for Show of the Year at the 2015 Streamy Awards held last month.
