Twitter Is Testing A Polling Feature for Its Website and Mobile Apps

Twitter is getting ready to test a polling feature that the company has been working on for some time. The company has made the feature available to a subset of users, with one being Twitter CFO Anthony Noto. Noto had a simple question for his followers Thursday: “Boxers of briefs?”

Users who were viewing the tweet on the web or within twitter’s native mobile apps were able to vote for either with a simple poll. Others who tweeted out polls Thursday included Entertainment Weekly and SB Nation writer Grant Brisbee.

Twitter has been working on the feature for at least a year, and a spokesperson confirmed that the company is “experimenting with a new way to poll users on Twitter.” There is no word yet on when it will become more widely available.
