Cranston makes a cameo in the show’s pilot, which he exec produced.
“I’m a very reasonable man. I’m trying to help you,” Cranston’s character tells Ribisi. “You got seven days to give me my money.”
Ribisi plays a criminal who steals his cellmate’s identity, and begins living with and working for the man’s family of bail bondsmen after being released from prison.
Marin Ireland and Margo Martindale also star in the drama executive produced by Cranston, David Shore, Seth Gordon, James Degus and Erin Gunn.
Gordon (“Horrible Bosses”) directed and Shore wrote the pilot, which premieres for free Friday with other Amazon series. The show was originally developed for CBS. Amazon viewers will vote on whether the show gets a full series order.
