Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson are teaming to star in a comedy series for Netflix from exec producers of “Two and a Half Men.”

“The Ranch” is described as a multi-camera comedy revolving around a former pro football player who returns to Colorado to help run the family ranch business. Don Reo and Jim Patterson, former exec producers and showrunners of “Men,” are shepherding the series News of the project was first reported by Deadline. Netflix declined to comment.

Netflix is said to be eyeing a 20-episode order for the series that would be released in two 10-episode batches next year, according to Deadline.

Kutcher and Masterson previously co-starred on the 1998-2006 Fox comedy series “That ’70s Show.” After “Men” wrapped its run earlier this year, there was talk of Kutcher developing a new project for CBS with Chuck Lorre, Patterson and Reo. It’s unclear if “Ranch” is the same property.
