Theatrical ad agency Serino/Coyne has hired a new CEO, the company announced Thursday.
Angelo Desimini has been promoted from COO to CEO, effective immediately, along with founder and former CEO Nancy Coyne stepping into her new role as chairman. Greg Corradetti is to remain president of Serino/Coyne.
“I am honored to assume the role of CEO of Serino/Coyne,” Desimini said in a statement. “My main objective is to build upon the foundation Nancy has established by working with our deeply talented and experienced Serino/Coyne team, our esteemed clients and industry peers to continue developing best-in-market campaigns for the shows we all love.”
“It is a perfect time for Angelo to take on the chief executive’s job,” Coyne commented in a press release. “Angelo continues to redefine our business in ways that both celebrate our rich history while also bringing us boldly into the future. He is known for being direct and honest with employees and clients, and for nurturing talent. The trust he has earned defines him as a leader.”
Desimini will report to Dale A. Adams, who is chairman and CEO of the DAS Group of Companies. Serino/Coyne is part of the DAS Group of Companies, a division of Omnicom Group Inc.
