Oxygen Media has named Benny Reuven as its vice president of development.

Reuven will work to develop real lifestyle programming in line with the “Bad Girls Club” network’s young multicultural female audience.

“Benny’s immense talent paired with his well-rounded background fits perfectly with Oxygen’s commitment to developing unique original programming,” said Cori Abraham, senior VP of development and international. “With both production and network experience he is an incredible asset to our team.”

Reuven was VP of development and programming at Wilshire Studios before joining Oxygen. He spent two years at the Oprah Winfrey Network as a programming and development executive, playing an integral role in the network’s launch. Reuven has developed and produced content for many broadcast and major cable networks including “Chef Wanted,” “Farmer Wants a Wife,” “Kid Nation,” “Miami Ink,” “Trading Spouses” and “Kidnapped by the Kids.”
