Peter Schwartz and James Rubin have joined WME as music agents.

They will be based in the agency’s New York office, and their client list includes Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, A$AP Ferg, Danny Brown and Yelawolf. Schwartz also represents B-Real, Big K.R.I.T., Cypress Hill, Jordan Bratton, Method Man, Redman and Snow Tha Product, and Rubin works with Run the Jewels, Partynextdoor, Action Bronson, Vic Mensa, Ilovemakonnen and G-Eazy.

“Peter and James are known for their keen eye for talent and their ability to architect careers,” said WME music partner Sara Newkirk. “They are dynamic additions to our group as we continue to build upon our world-class team of agents and artists.”

Schwartz joins WME from the Agency Group, where he served as VP and head of urban music, overseeing daily operations and booking nearly 25,000 shows and hundreds of tours domestically and internationally.

Rubin was also an agent with the Agency Group, working out of the company’s London office, where he oversaw its international division for urban touring and specialized in breaking artists in international markets.
