By George, the second royal baby is on the way.
On early Saturday morning, the international media got word from the Kensington Palace that Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, had been admitted to hospital to give birth.
She’s in the “early stages of labor,” a tweet from Kensington Palace announced.
According to the royal family, Middleton arrived with her husband, William, the Duke of Cambridge, at St. Mary’s Hospital in London at 6 a.m. local time on Saturday, May 2. She was admitted to the hospital’s private Lindo Wing.
The U.K. power couple announced their pregnancy in September.
The baby’s gender is still unknown.
In 2013, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their first child, George.
