Record numbers of visitors attended last week’s Content Tokyo, according to a post event report from organizers Reed Exhibitions Japan.
The fifth edition of the show (July 1-3, 2015), held at Tokyo Big Sight, saw a nearly 10% increase in visitors. In total it hosted 1,330 firms from 20 countries as exhibitors, 54,300 visitors and 7,650 conference attendees.
The three day event united six exhibitions: the 5th Licensing Japan; the 4th Creators’ Expo; the 3rd Production Companies Expo; the 3rd Content Solutions Expo; the first edition of the Content Marketing Expo,; and the inaugural edition of Advanced Content Technology Expo. There were also 39 conference sessions and various business promo events.
“We hope to expand the show both in scale and international profile so both professionals from Japan and overseas will be able to utilise the show to exchange contacts and seek the latest services and technologies for further developments of content business,” said show director, Keisuke Amano of Reed Exhibitions Japan.
The next edition will be held on June 29 – July 1, 2016 at the same venue.
