Incentives have pushed North Carolina into the ranks of the major U.S. production hubs. Now these enticements are on the road to receiving additional funding. Other lures include multiple film production studios, equipment rental shops, the deepest indoor production water tank in North America and mild temperatures. Over the years, TV series such as “The Andy Griffith Show” and “Dawson’s Creek” have shot in the state. More recent projects include “Homeland,” “Iron Man 3” and parts of “The Hunger Games” franchise.
