MPC Los Angeles hires new talent team; Deluxe Creative Services adds exec producer

Sandra Marsh & Associates has booked line producers Alex Corven (“Grand Piano”) on Tarik Saleh’s “The Nile Hilton Incident” and Richard Schlesinger (“Traitor”) on Martha Coolidge’s “Music, War & Love”; costume designers Kristin Burke (“Insidious: Chapter 2”) on James Wan’s “The Conjuring 2” and Mariestela Fernandez (“Cesar Chavez”) on Netflix’s “Narcos”; cinematographer George Steel (“The Honorable Woman”) on ABC pilot “Of Kings and Prophets”; and production designer Francois Seguin (“Brooklyn”) on Angelina Jolie’s “First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers.”

Dattner Dispoto has placed editor Jeff Castelluccio (“The Automatic Hate”) on Elijah Bynum’s “Hot Summer Nights” and d.p. Manuel Billeter (“Orange Is the New Black”) on Netflix series “Luke Cage.” The agency has signed d.p. Niels Alpert (“The Jim Gaffigan Show”) and costume designers Alana Morshead (“One and Two”) and Christina Blackaller (costumer on “The Lovely Bones”).

WPA has booked production designer Kay Lee (“The Sisterhood of Night”) on Elijah Bynum’s “Hot Summer Nights”; cinematographers Michael Goi (“Scream Queens”) on season 5 of FX’s “American Horror Story”and Sean Stiegemeier (“Chapman”) on Zack Whedon’s “Come and Find Me”; editors Scott Ashby (“Hot in Cleveland”) on Disney XD pilot “Boys in Blue,” David Bertman (“Transparent”) on season 2 of ABC’s “Galavant” and Andrew Cohen (“The Last Ship”) on the series finale of CBS’ “C.S.I.” and Tirsa Hackshaw (“House of Lies”) on Netflix’s “Luke Cage.”

Skouras agency has signed production designer Jonathan McKinstry (“Penny Dreadful”) and editor Nick Houy (“Criminal Justice”).

MPC Los Angeles has hired five artists for its Advertising 3D unit: animation head Steward Burris, vfx supervisor Zach Tucker, rigging lead George Saavedra, texture and look development supervisor Brian Broussard, and lighting head Matthew Maude. Plus, effects TD Charles Trippe has been upped to effects head. The team (pictured above) reports to 3D head Jason Schugardt.

Deluxe Creative Services has added Jaclyn Paris as exec producer for its Atlanta office, where she also oversees co-located unit Beast Atlanta and sister facilities Method Studios and Company 3.
