‘We Hate Paul Revere’: Ron Livingston Joins AMC Comedy Pilot

Ron Livingston (“Swingers,” “Sex and the City”) has been added to the cast of AMC’s comedy pilot “We Hate Paul Revere.” A comedy veteran, Livingston will star as the famed Revolutionary rider in the pilot, also starring Ethan Sandler and Adrian Wenner.

Sandler and Wenner will also be writing and executive producing the half-hour pilot. Matt Piedmont (“Saturday Night Live,” “The Spoils of Babylon”) is on board to direct with Troy Miller as a non-writing executive producer through his Dakota Films.

“We Hate Paul Revere” tells the story of two brothers trying to find their place in colonial Boston.

The pilot is a new genre for the network, which is currently prepping to roll out the highly-anticipated “Breaking Bad” spinoff, “Better Call Saul.” In March AMC also revealed a development slate that included unscripted projects and comedies alongside new drama pieces.

“We Hate Paul Revere” is set to begin shooting this August in Los Angeles, with consideration for 2015.

Livingston is repped by Thruline and UTA.
