TV Guide Network has expanded its original programming department with the appointments of Jessie Surovell (pictured left) and Kristan Giordano (pictured right) to veep of development and VP of original programming, respectively.
Both report to Paul Adler, senior vice president, original programming and development.
“As TVGN continues to expand its original programming, both Jessie and Kristan will play significant roles in building and managing our growing slate of content,” said Adler. “Their unique perspectives, creative voices and complementary skills make them a perfect duo.”
Surovell comes to TVGN from Shed Media US, where she served as executive director of development and was involved in developing shows such as “Marriage Ref” and “Bethenny Getting Married.” In her new role, she will be responsible for creating new original series for the network.
A 10 year-vet of TVGN, Giordano most recently served as exec producer at the network. As VP of original programming, she will oversee TVGN’s lineup, which includes “Big Brother After Dark,” “Popsugar Now” and “The Story Behind” series, as well as TVGN-produced specials and red carpet events.
