“Wings” star Steven Weber will pay a visit to the “House of Lies” for one episode, Showtime announced Monday. Weber will play Ray Montinola, a corporate turnaround specialist enlisted to assist the company after Marty’s (Don Cheadle) stint in prison.
Matthew Carnahan created the Showtime comedy and serves as exec producer along with Jessika Borsiczky, Cheadle and David Walpert. Season four will bow on January 11.
In other casting news:
- Spencer Grammer has been confirmed as a series regular on NBC’s upcoming “Mr. Robinson,” according to TVLine. Grammer will star alongside Craig Robinson in the comedy about a high-school teacher who leads a double life as a musician at night. Lenora Crichlow will also be a regular.
- William Shatner will visit Syfy’s “Haven” for a four-episode guest stint in 2015, the network has confirmed. Shatner will play “a pivotal character that has the potential to forever impact the fate of the town of Haven and its troubled residents.”
- Tony winner Victoria Clark is set to appear on Showtime’s “Homeland,” EW reports. Clark will play (spoiler alert!) the mother of Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes). Details regarding Clark’s story line and the duration of her stay remain under wraps.
