TBS has greenlit “The Smiths,” an unscripted series following NBA star Kenny Smith, his wife Gwendolyn Osborne-Smith and their five children.

The series is set to shoot in Los Angeles and Atlanta. It’s produced by Good Clean Fun, with Jason Carbone (“The Bachelor”), Nick Lee (“The Bachelor”), Jeff Altrock (“The T.O. Show”) and Smith (pictured with Osborne-Smith) as exec producers.

Series will focus on the family’s domestic life. It’s targeted to premiere in spring 2015, coinciding with the end of the NBA season.

Smith is currently an NBA studio analyst for Turner Sports and joins Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Ernie Johnson during the NBA season on “Inside the NBA.”

Smith helped the Houston Rockets win NBA championships in 1994 and 1995. He also played for the Detroit Pistons, Sacramento Kings and Atlanta Hawks during his pro career. Osborne-Smith is an actress and singer who has been a featured model on CBS’ “The Price Is Right” since 2005.
