Spike TV’s ‘Ink Master’ Gets Fifth Season

Ink Master” is in the black.

Spike TV has ordered a 16-episode fifth season of its tattoo artist reality competition show hosted by Dave Navarro. The series follows tattoo artists battling for a $100,000 cash prize, an editorial feature in Inked magazine and the bragging rights title of being called that season’s Ink Master. Contestants are judged by tattoo artists Chris Nunez and Oliver Peck.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Original Media, the immensely creative and innovative team who produces ‘Ink Master,’ the defining series of tattoo culture,” said Sharon Levy, Spike’s EVP of original series. “The ever-increasing ratings for the series is a testament to the huge stakes and drama in each episode with the incredibly-talented and knowledgeable hosts including Dave Navarro, Chris Nunez, and Oliver Peck.”

“Ink Master” is produced for Spike TV by Original Media with Charlie Corwin, Daniel Laikind and Andrea Richter serving as executive producers. Original Media is a subsidiary of Endemol USA.

The new season will debut this fall.
