“A” stake through the heart?
The CW is attacking ABC Family’s “Pretty Little Liars” on its home turf with a commercial slated to air on the latter’s network. The promo references “Pretty Little Liars” fans’ growing agitation with the show’s antagonist, “A,” and urges them to change the channel — to its concurrently airing freshman vampire drama, “The Originals.” (EW first reported news of the TV ad).
“Liars,” a show that grew in popularity through social media, appropriately responded by Tweeting a picture that says “bite me” and encouraged fans to use the hashtag #LiarsUnite .
