Oprah Winfrey’s OWN channel has partnered with director and screenwriter Tyler Perry once more to bring a new drama to the network this fall.

The new series, “If Loving You Is Wrong,” will premiere on OWN on Sept. 9 with two concurrent episodes. The nighttime drama promises to viewers a look at a middle-class group of husbands, wives and friends that have seemingly normal lives, but underneath are battling with destructible forces, such as heartbreak, deceit and lies.

This marks the second time a drama from Perry has found a home on the 3-year-old network. The popular TV soap opera “The Haves and the Have Nots” debuted in May 2013.

The show was produced specifically for OWN by Tyler Perry Studios and was written and helmed by Perry.
