Nickelodeon has renewed “Henry Danger” and “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn” for second seasons, and given the go-ahead for two new live-action comedy pilots: “The Dunes Club” and “Future Shock.”
Russell Hicks, Nickelodeon’s president of content development and production, said these new pilots will embody Nick’s dedication to “relatable concepts with unique voices, bold, breakout characters and fresh humor with heart.”
“The Dunes Club,” from creator Heather Flanders (“Undateable”), will follow the friendship between a well-off boy and a streetwise girl who works at a ritzy beach club.
“Future Shock” will see two brothers and their mother inadvertently transported to the year 2070. Creators Mitchel Katlin and Nat Bernstein are known for their work on “See Dad Run.”
Both pilots will begin production in January 2015.
