Danny Zuker will be staying in business with 20th Century Fox TV, as the “Modern Family” scribe and exec producer signs a fresh overall deal with the studio.

Three-year pact calls for Zuker to develop new projects for network and cable TV. He will also maintain his status as exec producer on the Emmy-winning ABC comedy.

“Danny is someone every showrunner and network wants to work with,” said 20th TV chairman and CEO Gary Newman. “He’s been at Chris and Steve’s side since the first season and plays an incredibly important role. He’s wickedly funny and his scripts are always as relatable as they are hilarious. It goes without saying that ‘Modern Family’ is one of this studio’s most important series, so keeping Danny on this brilliant show as well as allowing him to develop is a tremendous opportunity for us.”

In addition to his work on “Modern Family,” Zuker has penned for programs including “Just Shoot Me!” and “The Arsenio Hall Show.” He is represented by CAA and attorney Jeanne Newman
