Reality court TV star Judge Judy Sheindlin announced Monday that Maureen FitzPatrick will be the exec producer of her new syndicated court show “Hot Bench.”

FitzPatrick joins co-exec producer Randy Douthit, who was previously announced.

“I am thrilled that ‘Hot Bench’ will now have the extraordinary talent of Maureen FitzPatrick,” Sheindlin said in a statement. “One only needs to read her resume and meet her for an hour to know that she is the real deal.”

FitzPatrick is currently exec VP of programming and development at CBS TV Distribution, and she has developed new firstrun syndicated shows and overseen current programs including “Entertainment Tonight,” “The Arsenio Hall Show” and Sheindlin’s own “Judge Judy.”

“Hot Bench,” a half-hour strip created by Sheindlin, features a panel comprised of Judge Patricia DiMango and attorneys Tanya Acker and Larry Bakman who hear court cases and then argue among themselves until they reach a verdict. The show is set to premiere this fall.
