Lionsgate TV Exec Chris Selak Sets New Deal with Studio

Lionsgate TV has set a new deal to keep exec VP Chris Selak overseeing all aspects of development and current programming for the studio.

Selak joined Lionsgate in 2011 from John Wells Prods. She spearheaded the development of Netflix’s “Orange is the New Black,” ABC’s “Nashville” and NBC miniseries “Rosemary’s Baby,” among other projects. Upcoming projects include ABC Family series “Chasing Life,” a co-production with Televisa, and E!’s first scripted series, “The Royals” starring Elizabeth Hurley.

“Working with Chris is a joy,” said Lionsgate TV chief Kevin Beggs. “Her keen eye for talent and material, her executive prowess, and the breadth and depth of her industry relationships have played a pivotal role in growing our television business.”
