Maybe there’s no hard feelings after all. Jay Leno is set to return to NBC’s air on Thursday as a guest mentor on “Last Comic Standing.”

Leno will help the five finalists on the standup comedy competition show prepare for performances as the competitors are winnowed in advance of the Aug. 14 finale.

Leno signed off as host of “The Tonight Show” in February. He helped execute a gracious transition for his successor, Jimmy Fallon, but he also let it be known that he was surprised to have been nudged off the show while he was still No. 1 in latenight.

Roseanne Barr, Keenen Ivory Wayans and Russell Peters are judges on this summer’s incarnation of “Last Comic.” Series is hosted by JB Smoove and exec produced by Wanda Sykes, Paige Hurwitz and Javier Winnik.
