It’s official: Gwen Stefani has joined NBC’s “The Voice” as a coach for season seven.

The No Doubt frontwoman Tweeted and Instagrammed the news on Tuesday and NBC later confirmed it via a press release.

Original coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will also be on this season of the reality competition show, as will new coach Pharrell Williams. Original coach Christina Aguilera will return for season eight.

As a way to introduce the two new coaches to viewers, Pharrell will perform his new single “Come Get It Bae” from his current album “Girl,” and Stefani will perform her 2005 hit single “Hollaback Girl” on the May 5 live telecast.

“The Voice” is a presentation of Mark Burnett’s One Three Inc., Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Stijn Bakkers and Lee Metzger.
