Fox is pulling gameshow “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” off the shelf to help fill the void in primetime left by the cancelation of “Utopia.”

The quiz show, hosted by Jeff Foxworthy, had a three-season run in primetime starting in 2007. It later ran in first-run syndication.

Foxworthy is back as host, and Mark Burnett is back as exec producer. The series tests adult contestants’ knowledge of fifth grade-level subjects. Fox has not yet set a premiere date.

“I have loved this competition from our first show and the timing couldn’t be better for ‘5th Grader’ to return to Fox, as there is nothing like it on television,” said Burnett. “Kids today are smarter than ever and the adults who try to take them on will have an even harder task ahead of them.”

“5th Grader” will be produced through Burnett’s United Artists Media Group.
