Fox is moving “Glee” to Fridays for its sixth and final season, which wraps with a two-hour season finale on March 20, 2015. The network also announced premiere dates for several new shows, including Rainn Wilson’s comedy-drama series “Backstrom” and Will Forte’s “The Last Man on Earth.”

“Glee’s” final season kicks off Jan. 16 with a two-hour premiere, followed by the launch of YouTube series “World’s Funniest Fails,” which features comedians discussing the worst “epic fails” of the week.

“Backstrom,” starring Wilson plays as an unruly detective, premieres Jan. 22 while Forte’s “The Last Man on Earth” bows March 1. Fellow comedy “Weird Loners” will premiere March 31 at 9:30 p.m.

Returning for its 14th season, “American Idol” opens Jan. 7 while “Masterchef Junior” is back the night before (Jan. 6), leading into new episodes of “New Girl” at 9 p.m. and “The Mindy Project” at 9:30 p.m.

Kevin Bacon’s “The Following,” in its third season, kicks off with a two-hour event at 8 p.m. on March 2, before moving to its regular 9 p.m. time slot on March 9.

“Hell’s Kitchen” is open for business March 3, while “Bones,” in its 10th and possibly final season, returns March 26.
