The CW has unveiled some of its winter plans for Friday nights, with quirky, small-town comedic drama “Hart of Dixie” returning for its shortened fourth season on Jan. 9.
“Dixie” will be airing its 10 episodes in the 9 p.m. timeslot occupied this fall by “America’s Next Top Model,” which is expected to return in the spring.
Also on Jan. 9, CW will air the first of four original half-hour episodes of “Masters of Illusion” in the 8 o’clock slot. “Masters,” which performed pretty well when it bowed in the summer, will lead into encores of “Whose Line Is It Anyway.”
Dean Cain returns as host.
