Alyson Hannigan Cast in Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s CBS Comedy

Alyson Hannigan has joined the cast of CBS’ “More Time With Family,” a comedy hailing from Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.

Laffer centers on Tom — played by Tom Papa — a husband and father making a career change to spend more time with his family. Hannigan has been cast as Cindy, Tom’s wife.

Josh Goldsmith, Cathy Yuspa and Papa penned the pilot for “More Time” and are exec producing alongside Damon, Affleck, Dave Becky and Josh Lieberman. 20th Century Fox TV is producing the pilot.

A broadcast TV vet, Hannigan is best known for her roles in “How I Met Your Mother” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” along with the “American Pie” film franchise.
