ABC’s George Stephanopoulos secured an interview with Officer Darren Wilson, the police officer who was at the center of the spiraling controversy in Ferguson, Missouri, the anchor said in a post on Twitter.

In doing so, the ABC News Chief Anchor may have won a TV-news scrum of sorts. Several other outlets have vied for an interview with the police officer who a grand jury last night declined to indict in the shooting of an unarmed African-American teenager.
CNN media correspondent Brian Stelter reported earlier this week that a number of TV-news outlets – among them NBC News, CBS News and CNN – were courting Wilson in an effort to get him on screen.
ABC said the interview will air Tuesday, November 25 on “World News with David Muir” and “Nightline” and Wednesday, November 26 on “Good Morning America”. The full interview will be available on ABCNews.com on Wednesday, November 26. The interview will also be available across all ABC News platforms including ABCNews.com and ABC Radio on Tuesday, November 25.
