ABC Renews ‘The Bachelor,’ ‘Shark Tank,’ ‘Funniest Home Videos’

ABC has given another rose to “The Bachelor,” taking the reality dating competition show with a strong Twitter following into its 19th season.

In more reality TV news, the Alphabet has also renewed “Shark Tank” for a sixth season and will be taking “America’s Funniest Home Videos” for a whopping 25th season. Meanwhile, its recent announcement that “Dancing with the Stars” would be back for a 19th traipse around the dance floor garnered few surprises.

This summer, the network will see the premieres of new unscripted series “Rising Star,” in which country star Brad Paisley is in talks to star, “Sing Your Face Off” and “The Quest,” as well as the return of “Extreme Weight Loss,” “Bet On Your Baby,” “NY Med” and “Wipeout.”
