ABC Orders 3 Drama Pilots, Kevin Hart Comedy

Aliens, immortals and sketchy journos on Alphabet's drama slate

ABC has given greenlights to three more drama pilots and a cast-contingent nod to a comedy to star Kevin Hart.

The untitled Hart vehicle from 20th Century Fox TV revolves around a divorced couple who try to stay friends for the sake of their kids. Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan penned the pilot and exec produce with Hart (pictured) and 3 Arts’ Dave Becky.

Drama pilot “Forever,” from Warner Bros. TV, centers on an immortal medical examiner in New York City. Matt Miller penned the pilot and exec produces with Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz.

“Exposed,” from Universal TV, is based on a Scandinavian format adapted by Charles Randolph. Skein follows an investigative journalist who makes questionable alliances in searching for stories.

Randolph, Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan exec produce.

“The Visitors” is based on a Ray Bradbury short story about a race against the clock to defeat an unseen alien enemy. Soo Hugh wrote the pilot for Amblin Television/ABC Studios. Hugh exec produces with Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Steven Spielberg and Dawn Olmstead.
