PARIS– Fox International Channels Sweden has signed has signed a multi-year content deal with CBS Studios International., kicking off with “Madam Secretary” and “Scorpion.”

The deal guarantees broadcast and non-linear rights of first-run series, as well as other CBS’s productions to air on the FOX channel in Sweden, which launched in September.

As part of the premium premieres acquired, Fox will exclusively show two of the highest-rated hits of this fall: the drama series “Madam Secretary” with Téa Leoni (set to premiere on Dec. 1), followed by drama “Scorpion” (launching in early 2015).

Both new series have scored solid ratings in the U.S.: “Madam Secretary”‘s premiere garnered 17 million viewers. The premiere of “Scorpion,” meanwhile, attracted  more than 26 million viewers.

Pact also includes broadcast rights to new sitcom “The Odd Couple” with Matthew Perry (“Friends”) and Thomas Lennon. The series will be released in the U.S. in 2015.  and will premiere on Fox in Sweden shortly afterwards.

The deal also extends Fox Sweden’s rights to reruns of popular series like “The Good Wife” and “Numb3rs.”
